01 / The opportunity

A strategic leader.
A practical operator.

Arclight Digital Assets is based in Miami, with a focus on digital asset markets, financial technology and the operating systems that support a disciplined business. We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer who can build the processes, accountability and organizational capacity needed for sustainable growth.

This is a hands-on executive role. Working with company leadership, you will connect functions around shared outcomes, translate priorities into practical plans and make performance visible. You should be as comfortable shaping an operating model as you are improving the details that make it work.

The position is full-time and remote within the United States. The final work location and employment arrangements will be confirmed during the hiring process.

02 / Your mandate

What you will own.

  1. Strategy into execution

Translate company priorities into annual operating plans, quarterly commitments and clear ownership. Establish a management rhythm that connects decisions, resources and delivery. Surface tradeoffs early and resolve dependencies across functions.

  2. Operational architecture

Design workflows, policies, documentation and decision rights. Identify manual work and recurring failure points, then introduce appropriate systems and automation. Build repeatable processes that improve speed, accuracy and accountability.

  3. Financial and resource discipline

Partner with finance and leadership on budgets, forecasts, headcount and resource allocation. Establish meaningful operating metrics, review spending against results and bring rigor to procurement and vendor economics.

  4. Risk, controls and resilience

Work with legal, compliance, finance and technology specialists to translate applicable obligations into practical controls. Strengthen approvals, escalation paths, vendor diligence, incident coordination and business continuity.

  5. People and organizational effectiveness

Set clear expectations, develop functional leaders and address capability gaps. Improve collaboration across a distributed organization and create thoughtful approaches to hiring, onboarding, performance management and succession.

  6. Partnerships and strategic delivery

Lead complex initiatives from business case through implementation. Establish disciplined partner selection, negotiation, onboarding and performance reviews. Keep leadership informed of material issues, milestones and outcomes.

03 / Experience & judgment

What you bring.

Core qualifications

  • Financial fluency and the ability to evaluate performance, investment choices and commercial tradeoffs.
  • Experience hiring, developing and leading teams, including collaboration across locations.
  • Clear written communication, decisive prioritization and consistent follow-through.
  • Availability to work full-time remotely from within the United States.

Experience that adds value

  • Digital asset market operations, financial infrastructure or enterprise financial technology.
